Right now a theme cannot be updated

Right now it's impossible to update a theme once installed. I've been logging in to the server and just rm -rf'ing the theme's directory and reinstalling.
This is, inherently, because we do not know the name of the folder the theme was installed to. This should be easy to overcome. At present, I don't know how to do it but I haven't given it toooo much thought. Obvious solution: parse git repo string to determine the directory, hop in, and git update.
